Acme Salt Co’s Human Branding Framework

Origins

Chef Bob has been perfecting his seasoning since 1992, cooking with it at every job long before anyone thought to sell it. A chef mentor in San Francisco once asked him what it would look like to offer something no one else could, and one day Bob told Halli, "Some people are really interested in this, maybe we should start selling it?" They began mixing it by the 20 to 30 pound batch at the ranch, and Acme Salt Co was born.
Axis

One small-batch craft blend that replaces a shelf full of spices. In an aisle of fillers and iodized salt, Acme keeps the ingredients clean and the cooking simple: if the can is by the stove, you're ready to go.
Beliefs & Behaviors

Cooking should be simple, and quality ingredients should be accessible to everyone. Bob and Halli believe in what their product does for food and love being a small local business, and they're clear about why it works: "We are different because we have Jesus, we are growing because we have Jesus."

Every order ships with gummy bears and a handwritten note, signed "Blessings, Bob & Halli." Customers who overpay for shipping get the difference back, and feedback is always welcome.
Signals

The taste, the smell, and the feel of the salt between your fingers, in colorful, rich blends and clean, professional labels. And the phrases that travel with every order: "good eatin' makes for a good meetin'," "smell the difference," and "make a dent in your spice drawer."
Outsiders

Made for anyone who wants great flavor without a mountain of spices. It isn't built for salt-and-pepper purists or anyone who'd rather build every seasoning from scratch.
Future

Make a real dent in the spice shelf: more video and content, summer events that spread into other states, retail where it makes sense, and a building of their own to package and ship from.
