Glenrose has been servicing Spokane for over 40 years. Faced with an outdated brand, and a fear that legacy was falling through the cracks, we worked together to unveil their very human story to create a brand refresh that celebrates their story in place in their community.

Glenrose Service’s Human Branding Framework

Origins

It started around 1985 behind the family home on Glen Rose and 37th, next to the tallest pine on the prairie. An old ledger still shows the founder's daughter, Heather, getting paid 25 cents to clean the office. In 2011, she and her husband Bruce bought the service division to carry her dad's legacy forward.
Axis

Old-fashioned service while everyone else races toward cheap, fast, and faceless. A real person picks up the phone, every time. And if Glenrose did the job, Glenrose stands behind it.
Beliefs & Behaviors

Treat people well, starting with your own team. Pay top wages, respect the people doing the work, and respect every home you walk into.

Techs show up in uniform with shoe covers on. Prices are agreed before work starts. Every visit ends with a walkthrough and a handwritten thank-you card. Once, a fitting failed and their insurance cleared them of fault. They filed the claim against themselves anyway, so the customer was covered.
Signals

The pine tree from the original family home, redrawn with one branch sitting lower than the other: one generation leading, the next one following.
Outsiders

Glenrose will never be the cheapest plumber in town, and it isn't trying to be. It's for homeowners who want the job done right by people who actually pick up the phone.
Future

Rebuild the residential team, get more trucks on the road, and set the company up to keep going in a way that honors where it started.

Project Breakdown

Through our discovery work with Bruce and Heather, we uncovered the heart of Glenrose: a family business that wanted to honor the legacy it was built on, right down to the lone pine tree in the yard where it all started. We revised their branding and website to carry that story forward, giving them an elevated presence they can own with pride and stand behind from the heart. From there we partnered with them on their advertising, bringing the brand to life across campaigns that reach the homeowners and property managers they serve. Together we’ve helped Glenrose step into some of their best years.
