VCASE came to us with a need to put their message out there. To reach more people with the shocking truths about what happens when decriminalization of exploitation takes place. From logo design, to campaign prints and websites, we support their mission.

VCASE’s Human Branding Framework

Origins

VCASE formed as a non-partisan collective of diverse individuals and organizations, mostly women, who chose to stand together rather than alone. They believe the combined experience of many voices creates stronger results than any one group could on its own.
Axis

VCASE holds the people who buy and profit from sexual exploitation accountable while protecting those who are exploited. Their work centers on Canada’s federal law (PCEPA), which is built on that same balance.
Beliefs & Behaviors

Prostitution is a form of exploitation that disproportionately harms women and girls, not a choice made on equal footing. Communities are safer when exploitation is reduced and the most vulnerable are protected. VCASE advocates alongside survivors and amplifies their voices in public and political conversations. They push for the enforcement of federal law, including calling on the Vancouver Police Department to uphold it.
Signals

Their logo a representation of the collective of their group, and their messaging and colors to align to the starkness of what they are trying to help solve.
Outsiders

It’s for survivors, allies, and communities who believe exploitation should end.
Future

VCASE is focused on demand, the root cause of exploitation, by reaching the buyers who fuel it.

Project Breakdown

The Vancouver Collective Against Sexual Exploitation brings survivors, advocates, and organizations together as one voice to end sexual exploitation in all its forms. We built their website and managed their online marketing so their message could reach more people with clarity and care. We also edited advocacy videos that were presented to the Canadian government and designed posters for their campaigns, helping a serious and often misunderstood issue land with the dignity and urgency it deserves.
